The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce is looking for submissions for the cover for our 2024 Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Community Guide and Business Directory. We are looking for iconic and historical images of Culpeper to share on the front of our community guide – which is distributed throughout Culpeper and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Rules and regulations for the contest follow and submissions can be emailed to photos@culpeperchamber.com. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 30.
Photo contest for Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Community Guide and Business Directory rules and regulations:
• Submissions must be of historical significance to Culpeper.
• Photo editing/styling to enhance historical photos with present day photos will be considered.
• Portrait-style submissions will not be considered.
• Submissions must be at least 300 dpi and be 8.5 inches wide by 11 inches long.
• The deadline for submissions is Sept. 30
• Submissions will be judged by the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Membership and Marketing Committee and will be judged on criteria including composition, lighting and impact to Culpeper.
• Submissions not chosen for the front of the community guide will be eligible to be featured in a photo page of the community guide.
• Photographers will sign a waiver, signing the rights of the photo over to the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce/Culpeper Times for use in the community guide for a calendar year.
