2nd Annual Touch a Trolley Event – A Huge Success!
We are thrilled to announce that the Culpeper Public Transportation Board and Virginia Regional Transit, in partnership with Kid Central, hosted another incredible Touch a Trolley event! The smiles and laughter from the kids made it a day to remember.
Highlights of the day included:
Kids exploring the trolley and leaving their handprints on it!
Goodie bags full of gifts from our generous partners
Meeting with the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office – Timothy W. Chilton for Kid IDs
Fun interactions with the Culpeper Police Department
Delicious ice cream treats from Fat Daddy’s Ice Cream Truck.

We had an incredible time at the ribbon cutting for Inkleined Renovations LLC yesterday! The energy was high as we celebrated their grand opening and welcomed them to our vibrant business community. LEAD Culpeper 2024: July Session Recap on Health & Wellness!
Our amazing LEAD Culpeper 2024 participants dedicated their July session to exploring health and wellness in our community! It was an enlightening and action-packed day, filled with inspiring visits and valuable learning experiences:
Bright Spot Playground & Culpeper County Parks & Recreation Fieldhouse: We kicked off the day with a visit to these wonderful facilities, discovering the incredible recreational offerings available to our community.
Encompass Community Supports SEE Recovery Center: We gained insights into the vital services provided here, supporting individuals on their recovery journeys.
Dementia Friendly Culpeper Initiative with Aging Together: Participants learned about this important initiative and how it’s making our community more inclusive and supportive for those living with dementia.
UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center Panel: We engaged in a compelling discussion with three doctors about the pressing issues facing our local hospital system.
Free Clinic of Culpeper: Touring this facility was an eye-opener, showcasing the dedicated care provided to those in need.
Powell Wellness Center: We wrapped up the day with invigorating group fitness activities and delicious smoothies, highlighting the importance of physical health and community well-being.
Thank you to all the incredible organizations and professionals who shared their time and expertise with us. LEAD Culpeper 2024 is excited to carry these lessons forward, promoting a healthier, stronger community for all!
