Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2024 Legislative Breakfast!

We had a fantastic turnout and meaningful discussions on critical topics, including Education & Workforce, Access to Health Care & Insurance, Zoning & Planning, and Agriculture.

A special thank you to our incredible presenters: Ainsley Cockerille with Culpeper County Public Schools, Donna Staton with UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center, Andrew Hopewell with the Town of Culpeper Government, and Kenny Unger with CFC Farm & Home Center and our dedicated legislators: Senator Bryce Reeves, 28th District (represented by James Manetz), Delegate Michael J. Webert, 61st District, and Delegate Nick Freitas, 62nd District, who took the time to share their insights and engage in thoughtful dialogue. Your contributions truly made this event impactful!

We also want to give a huge shoutout to the talented students of Culpeper Technical Education

Center Blaze Kitchen, who prepared a delicious breakfast under the expert guidance of their instructor, Chef Cohen. Their hard work and professionalism added something truly special to the morning!

Your engagement and contributions help shape the conversations that matter most to our community. Let’s continue working together to create positive change in Culpeper and beyond!

Last night, we bundled up and braved the freezing temperatures to attend the 41st annual Lights of Love tree lighting at UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center! The holiday spirit was in full swing with hot chocolate to keep us warm, live music, delightful local performances, and even a visit from Santa who arrived to the event on the UVA ambulance!

This cherished tradition not only brings our community together but also supports a meaningful cause. Proceeds from this year’s Lights of Love benefit the Barbara Hocking Scholarship for Nursing Education and Training at UVA Community Health, helping to shape the future of healthcare in our region.

Thank you to UVA Health for hosting such a heartwarming event and to everyone who contributed to this wonderful cause. The season of giving is alive and well in Culpeper!

This past Friday, Amy had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2024 Virginia Economic Summit and Forum on International Trade as a participating host!

The day was packed with insightful panels discussing Virginia exports, economic development initiatives across the Commonwealth, and opportunities to network with peers from all corners of the state.

The event was also a fantastic platform to hear from both candidates for Governor in 2025, The Honorable Winsome Earle-Sears and The Honorable Abigail Spanberger, as they shared their visions for Virginia’s future.

It was also wonderful to connect with Bryan Rothamel, Culpeper Economic Development Director, and Paige Read, Director of Culpeper Tourism and Town Economic Development, representing our community so well at this important event!

We’re inspired and excited about what’s ahead for Virginia and grateful to be part of these important conversations shaping our economic future!

What a magical evening at the 2024 Culpeper Christmas Parade!

We had an amazing time watching the festive floats, marching bands, and holiday cheer light up our beautiful town. It was especially heartwarming to see so many of our Chamber members participating and showcasing their holiday spirit!

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event such a joyful celebration for our community!

“When I started my business, I thought that with Culpeper being a relatively small town, being part of a Leadshare program in the Chamber might prove fruitless. But I tried it out anyway. Little did I know that with a small town came BIG connections! Leadshare and the members within it have supported not just my business but my personal life. I’ve made not just connections, but true friends who care about each other. I truly look
forward to our Leadshare meetings!”
