We had an absolutely amazing time at Culpeper Renaissance Inc.‘s Downtown Culpeper Carnival event! Shopping, dining, entertainment, this event had it all!

The highlight of the day was the adorable Newfoundland dog parade – those furry friends sure know how to steal the show! The street performers brought so much energy and fun to the event, and Wes Iseli Magician & Illusionist’s magic show left us in awe! Getting a caricature done by the talented Daniel Ryman is always a highlight (and if you missed him don’t worry we will have him drawing at CulpeperFest 2024 as well!)

We did not have the opportunity to take the carriage ride but enjoyed watching it circle downtown. Such a delightful way to explore the event and take in the vibrant atmosphere!  And let’s talk about the food! We stopped at Sweet Roux who were serving up some delicious Creole cuisine that left our taste buds dancing!

A huge shoutout to Culpeper Renaissance for organizing such a fantastic event! Already looking forward to next year’s Mardi Gras celebration!

Amy had an amazing time at the Luxury Martis Gras Bingo to benefit SAFE – Services to Abused Families, Inc!

It was wonderful to see so many people come together to support SAFE and their crucial work empowering survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered and participated to make this such a fun event and to help make a difference in the lives of those in need!

The Culpeper Chamber of Commerce dedicated our extra day this year to “Leap of Kindness Day”! We dropped off lunch from Pepper’s Grill to Culpeper County Public Safety Communication Center, dropped off food to The Culpeper Food Closet, and donated a variety of items to Full Circle Thrift Store.

The Culpeper Young Professionals had an incredible time at the first Young Professionals Fundraising Event of 2024 – the “Wine and Design: Paint for a Cause”! 🍷🖌️

What a fantastic evening filled with creativity, laughter, and giving back.  With 20 talented participants, we dove into the world of art and painted a mesmerizing bluebird scene.  It was amazing to see everyone express their artistic flair while supporting a great cause – Aging Together.

Thank you to everyone who attended, painted, and contributed to making this night unforgettable.

Today, Amy had the incredible opportunity to meet and congratulate Eastern View students, Yasmine and Melody, as they successfully completed their externship with 101 Latino Multiservice through Career Partners!

These dynamic young women have been putting in serious work over the past week, delving into business essentials and reflecting on their plans for the future.  Their dedication and hard work are truly commendable.  It was an honor to sit down, chat, and learn about their experiences and aspirations.

Wishing Yasmine and Melody all the success as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
